For the past several years, we have displayed a little lighted tree in our dining room, year round. We decorate it with the seasons; hearts in February, Easter eggs in the spring, birds and butterflies in the summer, you get the idea. One fine spring day, Emmet brought a friend home after school. Upon entering the house, the boy exclaimed, "Dude! You still have your Christmas tree up!?" Emmet was quick to respond, "Hello! It's a Holiday tree. " As if everyone has a "holiday tree" in their dining room! That's my boy.
This week we put the finishing touches on the inside of the house in preparation for a little Halloween cookie decorating party--tune in tomorrow for that!
I glittered these bones from Martha Stewart last year. Well, I bought them at Michael's, they're not really Martha's bones. Anyway.
The dining room chandelier.
These three little guys are perched in front of a lovely painting by our friend and wonderful artist, Misato.
Our living room coffee table. . .
We've had this glass head for 20 some years. We fill her with various things throughout the year.
Time to get ready for all the little goblins and princesses. Have a safe and fun night!
