This is the adorable daughter of Elisabeth Ryan, who was next to me at the PV Street Fair. She's modeling the bloomers her mom bought from me.
Elisabeth is the most talented author and illustrator of an awesome series of children's books. She's also been a customer of mine, and we had no idea we'd be neighbors at the fair! It was great to have someone friendly to visit with over the weekend, and watch my booth while I took potty breaks.
Since the fair is close to home, I got to see so many friends, some I hadn't seen for years, including my son's preschool teacher, and Carrie, my old street fair buddy! I appreciate everyone who shopped and visited. Keeping a small business up and running these days is a major challenge, but I still love what I do and I am always amazed by the support and wonderful reactions I get from shoppers. This was my last street fair for a while, and I was beyond exhausted by the end. I worked a little this week, but mostly rested. So here I sit, on a Saturday night, Lanky by my side, with barely enough mojo to get this post finished. I'm sure I'll be back to my motivated self by next week. We shall see!
