It was a lovely weekend at the Strawberry Festival. Andy came along to help with set up, and for moral support, and to have a little getaway with moi. It was so nice to have a little break from the dog and the teenager, though we missed them both. We were lucky enough to have Grandma come to supervise the household while we were gone. I enjoyed meeting up with return customers, as well as many friendly vendors. Next up, Fiesta Hermosa, in Hermosa Beach. It's a 3 day show (Saturday, Sunday and Monday--Memorial Day). I've been very busy cutting and sewing, boosting inventory for a big weekend.
This has been one of my favorite and most popular outfits lately. I've been selling the skirt for a while, but I've recently added the brown gingham blouse. I make it in sizes 2T through 10. If you can't get out to the fair to shop, you can find this lovely ensemble in my Etsy shop.
