I received these wonderful photos via email over the weekend...
This is Athena (great name, no?). She's modeling my Day of the Dead Dress given to her by her Grandma (my friend Judy). Mama Jennifer was kind enough to send me these great photos!
Isn't she adorable! Then there was this not so great photo. . .
Yes, the photo itself isn't so great. . . taken at the ER on husband's phone, but the content is the worst part. I came home yesterday after running errands, to find the first aid kid strewn about the table, and a message on the phone from our concerned neighbor. . . "Is Emmet going to be o.k.? He didn't look too good". Of course there was no note, and I wasn't called because my cell phone is never charged, because, well, that's another story.
So I called the husband, and yes, they were at the ER getting Emmet patched up. He had been hill bombing on skateboards with his buddies, got some speed wobbles, and went down in a dramatic fashion. No major injuries, but pretty nasty, and today he is very sore. I was glad he was out in the sunshine getting some exercise; he tends to spend too much time in front of a screen. Of course last night he reminded me that he can't hurt himself playing video games. WHATEVER.
On completely separate note. . . I made these cookies for a whale themed baby shower. And. . . I'm off to bake more cookies!
