So while at Paradise Fibers in Spokane, I decided I needed a new project to work on while hanging out in the hotel room--this is my idea of a good time. That, and room service.
The green yarn is a super soft Alpaca by Frog Tree. The pattern is from the "Crocheted Gifts" book (see previous post). Paradise also carries all kinds of alternative fiber yarns. I've basically stuck to cotton or wool in the past, so I thought I'd try something new. The blue yarn is 100% CORN! It's called "Corntastic" and is made by Kollage. I'm going to make another pair of cuffs out of that. Can't wait to see how it works up. Do any of you have any experience working with corn yarn?
I love how they turned out, and they do actually take off some of the chill. The L.A. level of chill that is. But it's the cute factor that really works for me!
