I always try to design some fun, interesting clothes for little boys. Everyone says they can't find anything cute for them. Of course when you try to get creative, the dads sometimes think it's not "manly" enough. Go figure. It's nice to have an alternative to the GAP when shopping for boys. I know this, I'm raising a boy. My husband is the most critical of boy apparel. He's all for the creative, but his boy's gotta look like a boy! So he and Emmet are my design consultants and collaborators.
I love this outfit! Especially when paired with Converse One Stars and a skateboard. Now, it may look a little Bee Gees (burgundy velveteen, HELLO), but worn casually with an oxford shirt, you're good to go. Perfect for Holiday get togethers, family portraits etc. The vest with jeans or black pants would be more subtle too. I also make this in black velveteen. It comes in sizes 2 thru 5. Tristan here is wearing a 5. Isn't he awesome?!
Here's Adeo again, in the tree swing set with one of my crocheted hats.
Must keep a little of that cowboy theme going, after all I did spend the latter half of my childhood in Wyoming. These three cowpokes are cousins. I wonder what the secret is?
This is Garret, big brother of Tristan (velveteen skateboarder). He is the nicest, most helpful boy. Most of my designs go up to size 5/6, but I do make hoodies and Tee shirts through adult sizes. So Garret got to model the PLAY hoody-size 8. Hoodies are available for sale here. My other fall designs are in production and will be available by September.
Hope you are having a lovely summer day!
